Consultant at heart transplant centre is suspended after colleague makes formal complaint

A medical consultant at Harefield Hospital, one of the UK’s leading heart transplant centres, has been suspended following an allegation of sexual assault by a member of staff.

The hospital, which is part of the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS foundation trust, has confirmed that it has launched an investigation after a formal complaint was made by a colleague.
